Some thoughts.

Weekends are so precious. I needed this particular one to relax and recharge my battery. I just wish they lasted a little bit longer.

I am so grateful for my friends. My friend Stacie made the comment yesterday that, as hard as it is, living away from family makes you closer to your friends, and I totally agree. You really rely on each other. This last week was another confirmation that I am so blessed to have my friends -- I received some much-needed, unselfish, honest advice the other day, and it is exactly what I needed. Peace of mind is a great feeling.

Date nights with the husband are my favorite -- the picture below was taken after dinner on the Riverwalk (hooray for Groupon!)

Do you know the movie "Say Anything?" It has always been one of my favorites, and we watched it last night. Who doesn't love John Cusak in 1988?

I've got a short work week ahead!!! Water-skiing in the beautiful land of Spokane in T-minus 4 days.

I still can't believe that I've become a morning person. I never, never, ever thought I would be happy to do a 7:00 run on a Saturday morning. I've really come to love the feeling of getting so much done before 10:00 even hits. This can wholly be attributed to Russell.

Have you ever heard of West Elm?!? Maybe I am way late on these kind of things, as I only discovered it here in San Antonio. Now I just drool over the website and wish my house could be this store.

I could keep going, but I need to go make the bed.
Happy Sunday everyone!

Haha - I love your shout out to West Elm! I've never actually been into a store, but I love to browse online for endless hours. It's ah-maze-ing! A little modern, a little my-mother-doesn't-have-this-on-display-in-her-home, and a little classy.

Miss you Camille!

I love the Riverwalk! We have yet to go on the boat ride though. I need to use Groupon to get free stuff! I'll have to do that tonight! Have fun in Spokane!

I'd never heard of West Elm. Apparently there is one in Dallas (not surprised), and I'm already a fan. Checked out the website and it's surprisingly affordable. Can't wait to go check out the actual store!
